Once again, I’m delighted to provide my writing services for the five-star luxury Esplanade Zagreb Hotel magazine entitled the Esplanade View.
For a number of years, I’ve worked alongside the Esplanade Zagreb Hotel sharing my copywriting, translation and copy editing skills covering a variety of concepts including press releases, the hotel website, menus and most recently the 80-page Esplanade View magazine.
Created and published twice a year in spring and autumn, this bilingual English and Croatian publication representing Zagreb’s most luxurious hotel, promotes the beauties of Croatia and its capital, Zagreb. It perfectly suits the guests of the Esplanade Zagreb Hotel, helping them to absorb interesting information about the city and the hotel they are staying at, in a very short space of time.
Equally, the magazine provides hotel guests with fundamental useful information about a multitude of events held in the capital. It features intriguing articles on a range of varied topics. Food and drink, hotel events, Zagreb cultural life, fashion editorials and interviews with notable names. This is just some of the what you can expect as you flick through each issue. The aim is to focus more on what’s important to guests rather than direct promotion of the hotel.
90 Years of the Esplanade Zagreb Hotel
The latest issue is rather special. This year in 2015, the Esplanade Zagreb Hotel celebrates a significant cornerstone in its history as it marks 90 years since the doors first opened to guests. In 1925 the hotel was built in order to provide accommodation for passengers of the famous Orient Express. At the time, Zagreb was one of the stops along the famous and popular route.
The Esplanade View magazine prints 4000 copies and is widely distributed to foreign embassies in Croatia, media representatives home and abroad. Essentially, the magazine plays a significant role in the hotel’s PR strategy, featuring at all major trade fairs and exhibitions.
